Newer iOS users might not even realize this, however video recording, copy/paste, multitasking, and customizable notifications, among many more, were just available to the people who Jailbreak this iPhone on iOS 7.1 devices for adding the unsanctioned features. After that slowly, Apple integrated these functions in the mobile platform. With iOS 7, company has done this again.
Cydia Killed By iOS7
Jailbreaking generally refers to hacking, which breaks the Apple’s restrictions over iPhone, iPod or iPad touch. However, Apple isn’t amused. It has tried infamously to make Jailbreak this iPhone on iOS 7.1 illegal (no avail, for iPhones and iPads are different story).
Indeed, when iOS evolves, it co-opts features, which were jailbreak once. In some weeks, when the iOS7 launches, it may continue that tradition. So, here are a few Cydia tweaks that the Apple’s new software has appropriated:
SB Settings (replaced by the Control Center)
The Jailbreakers who want simple access to the main settings have relied on the SB Settings. The gesture summons SB Settings from status bar. At iOS7, Control Center gives nearly same functionality.
Auxo (replaced by multitasking and Control Center)
There is no secret to immense popularity of Auxo iOS task that gives live previews of the active apps, system toggles for the quick access to the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and swipe-to-delete multiple apps as well as screen brightness.
DeepEnd or 3DBoard (that is replaced by the new parallax effect)
The iOS 7′s 3D effect is the splashy visual, which creates depth in new environment. You’re your iPhone around in the hand, when keeping eyes on your home screen, and you will see what appears 2 different layers—and one with flat icons that are floating over the deeper set wall paper. DeepEnd has done this first, and new tweak named 3D Board does something very much similar. However iOS7 has done away with a need for both.
